Excerpts:
Since peace deal with the US in February last year, there are still violence attacks conducted by Taliban militant in Afghanistan against goverment and foreign troops. Are those mean that was not a true peace deal?
We are fully committed to everything we pledged in the agreement, and we believe that fully implementing the agreement is the best solution to end the ongoing war that has been imposed on our country and on our people by foreigners.
Or there is no trust among Taliban with other factions in Afghanistan and goverment?
The agreement between the Islamic Emirate and the United States, meaning that we have not yet reached an agreement with the Kabul administration now, I mean, about five months ago, we sat with the Kabul administration and we hope that we will finally reach an agreement with the Kabul administration as we reached with the Americans.
Do you think there is still a chance to reach a deal through intra-Afghan dialog?
We are optimistic and we believe that we will reach a result through negotiations.
What are obstacles to reach peace agreement among all factions and groups in Afghanistan?
Neither we, nor before us, have a problem. We have declared that we are open to everyone. We want to have meetings with everyone so that we can reach through the negotiating platform to a positive solution.
Do you think the existence of ISIS is the main obstacle for reaching prolonged peace in Afghanistan?
If the foreign forces withdraw from our country, all problems will be solved, meaning that the problems that exist in our country are the fruit of the occupation, and the Islamic Emirate is able, with the victory of allah and then by the people standing on its side, to eliminate all problems. Insha Allah.
What are the results of Taliban meetings with Iranian officials in Tehran?
Our delegation has visited the republic of Iran, which is our neighbor. We want good relations with everyone, especially with our neighbors. There were meetings between the political deputy and head of the political bureau of the Islamic Emirate, Mr. Mullah Baradar and his accompanying delegation, and between senior officials of Iran.
During the meetings, the issues related to the borders between the two countries were discussed, in particular the issues related to the borders between the two countries, the problem of Afghan immigrants and merchants, and other issues.
Why did Taliban visit Iran? Do you think Iran can help peace process in Afghanistan?
Our travel to Iran was at an official invitation from Iran. We, as I said, want good relations with all countries, especially with Islamic countries.
Is there any plan for Taliban to visit Saudi Arabia for similar agenda in Iran?
If an invitation is extended to us, we will accept the invitation.
Do you think Biden administration is truly willing to see peace and security in Afghanistan or otherwise, they see Taliban is part of Al-Qaidah networks?
We want all parties to work honestly and sincerely for this goal, because peace is linked to the withdrawal of foreign forces.
Is there any condition set up by Taliban before participating in intra-Afghan dialogue?
Bringing peace to Afghanistan is in everyone's interest.
Taliban already occupied most of areas in Afghanistan. Once there is a peace deal among all factions within Afghanistan, will Taliban support the idea to create a democratic state of Afghanistan or an islamic state?
The Afghan people are a Muslim people, more than 99 of our people are Muslim, and this proud and proud people have made great and many sacrifices throughout history for the sake of freedom and independence and for the establishment of an independent and Islamic regime in their country.
If Taliban chooses the second one, what kind of Islamic state will be established by Taliban?
How to order this will be discussed during the negotiations.
